Superb Lyrebird

Superb Lyrebird is an Australian specialty performer known for its ability to mimic sounds, which serves as the core of its act. Its highly developed vocal tract allows it to accurately replicate almost any sound it has heard; in addition to perfectly mimicking the calls of dozens of birds and animals in its surroundings, it can also reproduce complex man-made mechanical sounds and musical instrument sounds—such as camera shutters, car alarms, chainsaws, and even organ music—with remarkable realism.
