Luis Carlos Soares is a screenwriter, director, producer, and curator with extensive experience in the audiovisual sector. With a master's degree in literary adaptation, he has built a career marked by his dedication to creating sensitive and impactful narratives. As the founder of Bambu Filmes in 1997, he has worked on numerous projects. As a screenwriter and director, he created and directed the short films "Até Logo, Mamãe" ("See you, mom") (1998) and "Dois em Um" ("The Two of Us") (2003), among others. For television, he wrote and directed the CurtaSTV series (40 episodes) and two seasons of "Faixa Curtas" (90 episodes). He also contributed to the documentary series "Retratos Brasileiros", directing an episode dedicated to the renowned film editor Mauro Alice, one of the great names in film editing in Brazil.
