Elias Mays Schutzman is a filmmaker, composer, and songwriter hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. His directorial debut "Shutter Sound" received the award for "Best Score/Musical Arrangement for a Short Film" (a score he composed) at GenreBlast Film Festival 2025, and has been selected at 5 horror focused film festivals across the US. As a musician, Elias has been a principal songwriter, drummer, keyboard player and vocalist for The Flying Eyes, Black Lung, and Revvnant, releasing over 10 original albums and touring internationally since 2010.
