Luis Enrique Vergara Schettino is a Mexican writer and director based in Mexico City. His films explore silence, masculinity, and emotional aftermath through restrained visual storytelling and performance-driven narratives. He directed the short films Al Día Siguiente (The Next Day) and Cuando Nos Volvamos a Ver (When We See Each Other), the latter earning international festival selections and winning Best Short Film – Fiction at the Guadalajara International Film Award.
