Sofía García Galán (Mexico City, 2002) is a Mexican film director studying at CENTRO. She directed Violetas (2023), a queer coming-of-age short film, and Rebeldía en Tacones (2024), a documentary about the emerging drag scene in Mexico City. Her interest in feminist and queer stories, combined with her colorful style, gives her projects a magical realism and an optimistic tone.
