Indigenous and Italian-born director William Mazzoleni Valin is recognized for his latest short film Pow-Wow. This latest short film earned him a selection for "Talent tout court" at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2018, as well as several nominations and awards at other festivals as best short film and Indigenous director.
