Director Ahmed Medhat graduated from the Cairo Academy of Cinema in 1991. Following graduation, he made many documentaries, the most notable including, "A Cigarette with Arabic Coffee" "Don't Cry for Me, Mom" as well as short-story films as "Alexander's Rose." He is most famous for his break-out directorial big-budget film "Eltorbini"
