Violette Wautier (Thai: วิโอเลต วอเทียร์; born October 10, 1993), commonly known as V (Thai: วี) is a Thai-Belgian singer-songwriter and actress. After her rise to fame in season 2 of The Voice Thailand, she gained critical acclaim for both her music and acting. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Film and Photography at Chulalongkorn University. Following her appearance in The Voice Thailand, she made her breakout film debut in Heart Attack (2015), where she earned the award for Best Supporting Actress from the Suphannahong National Film Awards, Thai Film Directors' Association Award, Kom Chad Luek, and the Thai Film Awards. She is also known for her roles in A Gift (2016), Die Tomorrow (2017), and One for the Road (2021), which had its world premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. In 2020, Violette released her first full English album, Glitter and Smoke, with the single 'Smoke' reaching number 1 on the Apple Music Chart in 8 countries. In 2022, she released Your Girl, an all-Thai album that lays bare her vulnerabilities, marking another big step in her musical journey as a singer-songwriter.
