Dennis Posa was born in Manhattan in 1946 and grew up in Freeport, New York. After graduating in Furniture Design, he began studying acting, also in New York. In 1975 he made his first appearance in the gay porn "Boy-Napped", after which he landed several roles in straight porn productions, which he performed under the pseudonym Wade Nichols. With his other stage name, Dennis Parker, he recorded the disco album "Like an Eagle" in early 1979, which had great success in the homosexual dance scene and even charted internationally in some countries. During this time he also played the police chief Derek Mallory in the soap "Edge of the Night"; however, for health reasons he had to retire from the acting business in 1984. He died in January 1985 as a result of an AIDS-like illness.
