A Western Woman's Way 1910

Directed by Gilbert M. Anderson

Wanderer Bill Todd is befriended by miner Dick Broadhurst, who offers him a job. Instead of showing gratitude, Todd shoots and robs Dick, fleeing before other miners arrive. Desperate for a fast horse to outrun the sheriff's posse, Todd forges a note from Dick to his wife. Deceived, Mrs. Broadhurst hides Todd from the posse and gives him their best horse. When the wounded Dick is brought home, she realizes the truth. Knowing Todd cannot be caught by the posse, she scales a ridge with a rifle and stops the fleeing outlaw with a long-distance shot.
