Cachorro 2020

Directed by J. Alba Hernández

During his night shift, Alfonso Vera—a seasoned, veteran police officer—has a difficult night working alongside his new partner, Marco Garay, who relentlessly questions him about his personal and professional life. Between the lack of communication with his son—leaving him unsure if the boy is even home—and persistent inquiries regarding a work-related incident that has led to legal trouble, Alfonso is left completely on edge. Meanwhile, Alex Vera—Alfonso’s serious, reserved son, who lost his mother—returns from a date with his girlfriend, Mariana Ruizpalacio, only to find the Ruizpalacio family home partially destroyed.
