Filming took place on an expedition to the most beautiful places of Altai, during which the filmmakers talked about past, present and future with the guardians of ancient sanctuaries and ancient epics, the reserved nature and traditions of the Old Believers, the culture of nomads and the knowledge of the Altai wanderers .
