Stockbroker Fred Böhler has an accident on his way to work. While his seriously injured body is taken to intensive care, his soul flies away as an eagle to another world. His journey first takes him into space, where he is repelled by the cold. In his encounter with the elemental nature of Alaska's pristine landscapes, he discovers the power of life. He continues along the path of evolution, where he encounters the most beautiful flowers, playful squirrels, and mighty moose and bison. Does he even want to return?
