Although Jack returns to Encarnación, the village in Paraguay where we imagine he spent his childhood, it is first and foremost the triggering event for a stage. A voyage like a passage. In his mother’s small flat, he is the only man among women. In the streets of his town, he is a stranger in a world that should be familiar to him. In the forest, he is alone in the face of the forces of nature.
