His atomic model is indirectly a precondition for the atomic bomb, but also for the computers , lasers and mobile phones, modern people rely on today. It is estimated that one third of the world economy rests on quantum physics . He was not only a brilliant scientist , but also a great humanist, a renaissance man, a world citizen who interacted with some of history's leading figures.
