When Angela meets Mark at a local bookstore, he strikes her interest with his mysterious demeanor and motivates her to explore dating outside of her comfort zone. What Angela knows about men of color is a warning sign, but meeting Mark changes it. Her best friend Paula, hears of her excitement and desperately redirects Angela's dating interest. When Angela meets Margo, she opens doors to a different world. With her best friend Karen, they influence Angela to live and love on her own terms."
