She Dared To Dream: Ayanna Pressley

Directed by Abby Ginzberg

She Dared to Dream documents the journey of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley from her early years in Chicago to the halls of Congress, where she has been a champion for women, especially Black women, to live authentically, as well as a fierce advocate for reproductive rights, eliminating student debt and fighting for affordable housing. As the first African American elected to Congress from Massachusetts, she has remained true to her credo that “those closest to the pain should be closest to the power.”
