Karnabharam : A Mohanlal Masterclass. 2001

Walking willingly into the fire of destiny with open eyes.

Directed by Kavalam Narayana Panicker

A masterclass in stage performance preserved on screen. Mohanlal strips away all cinematic artifice, relying entirely on his eyes, posture, and a voice dripping with heavy, inescapable fatalism to embody Karna on the eve of Kurukshetra.
