Dune - The Real Story

Directed by Robin Bextor

Frank Herbert's Dune is one of the most influential works of science fiction ever written, but getting it onto the screen proved extraordinarily difficult. From Alejandro Jodorowsky's legendary unmade film and Ridley Scott's abandoned project to David Lynch's troubled 1984 adaptation, this documentary reveals the real story behind Dune and the filmmakers who tried to conquer its impossible scale, before Denis Villeneuve finally brought Herbert's vision to life.
