22nd Century Cat 2026

Directed by Omoi Sasaki

Yoshiko is an actress working on an indie film while living with her elderly father. In her latest role, she plays the wife of an eccentric man running for local political office, a fictional situation that gradually begins to overlap with the circumstances of her own everyday existence. As she moves between the demands of the film set and her domestic responsibilities, the distinction between performance and reality becomes increasingly uncertain.
