Szapołowska - Nowe Spojrzenie 1998

Directed by Maciej Odoliński

A portrait of Polish actress Grażyna Szapołowska, tracing her journey from early roles that established her as a sex symbol to her emergence as a respected actress. In an honest, candid conversation, Szapołowska reflects on her beginnings in theatre, her successes and disappointments, the struggle to break free from typecasting, and her professional and private life. Featuring excerpts from her films, behind-the-scenes footage of television theatre productions, and insights from directors who have worked with her, the documentary captures an actress on the threshold of a new, more mature stage of her career.
