Elisabeth has been married to Friedrich for 40 years and they’ve been happy, despite a few setbacks. Not even his Alzheimer’s disease can shake their love. Until one evening, during a TV show about the unsolved murder of their daughter’s best friend—which has remained a mystery for 22 years—Friedrich suddenly mentions details he shouldn’t possibly know.
