Contagion 2006

Directed by Shaun Su

A creative, fast-paced, and highly satirical 2D animated short exploring the concept of peer pressure, environmentalism, and how habits spread. The narrative cleverly spins a wild sequence of events that triggers a bizarre chain reaction—stretching all the way from a newborn baby lying inside a hospital incubator up into the global atmosphere. Through its witty visual transitions and sharp art style, the film humorously illustrates how easily smoking, bad habits, and pollution are "transmitted" across society and the planet.
