Poetrix 2026

Directed by Ioulia Lymperopoulou

"POETRIX" (2026) is a short art experimental animation that was inspired by the dystopian novel "The smudge" (Taxideftis, 2021). It is about the interaction of conscious and subconscious, how the subconscious is formed in the course of life and can affect our actions and consequently the world. It all begins with a nightmare that triggers a repressed trauma to resurface and brings the main character "The Creature" face to face with itself.
