The Lookalike

Directed by Nehal Elkoussi

Across football stadiums, concert halls, and religious gatherings, three Egyptians live in the shadow of famous figures they strikingly resemble. A journey into how a genetic coincidence evolved into a profession, an identity, and a destiny - and how the lookalike came to fill a space the real celebrity never could, meeting admirers in streets, villages, and local celebrations, becoming a star within reach and, at times, rivaling the original.
