Hestia

Directed by Jota Linares

1991. While Spain is in the midst of the euphoric run-up to Expo ’92 in Seville and the Barcelona Olympic Games, several generations of gay men watch as AIDS takes everything away from them. Miguel, a young man who is beginning to die, picks up Hugo—a young man who is just beginning to live—on the road. Together, they travel through a hidden, almost magical Spain, full of unfinished stories and chosen homes.
