Nowruz - New day 2026

Far from home, they found a place to belong

Directed by Francesco Cannavà

In Turin, a group of young Iranian women finds community and freedom through Homa, a women’s football team. As they train and compete in Balon Mundial 2025, they build new lives far from home. When war breaks out in Iran, their joy and sense of belonging are challenged by fear for their families and the pain of a wounded homeland.
