Mer än bara en biograf 2026

Directed by Evelina Brännström

One of Sweden’s oldest cinemas—Röda Kvarn in Orsa. The building originated as a Good Templar lodge, established to reduce alcohol consumption and support the residents of Orsa. When cinema arrived in the town, the building became a gathering place for the local population—and a lifeline for many. It offered a destination where people could escape to experience other worlds on the silver screen.
