A Arte de Ser 2025

To create is to exist.

Directed by Pedro Augusto Teixeira

In 'A Arte de Ser', three visual artists from Barra do Piraí reveal the power of creation as a way of existing. The documentary delves into their lives and works, showing how each transforms their own experiences into art, confronting invisibilities, affirming identities, and building new ways of existing. With a reflective and intimate gaze, the short film proposes a pause to see art as a mirror of the self and society.
