Nadya is a character in a short story that the Screenwriter is writing. He writes it "for himself", "for the drawer". Nadya is a little over forty, she works as a ticket inspector at a movie theater. She is not married, but she has a man who comes to her from time to time. When he is around, Nadya is happy. When he is not there, she languishes in anticipation.
